Ceramics for everyday use

I have been making ceramics for years as a hobby, but after having three children I found I really didn't have the time to spend on it. I put my kiln and wheel away in the attic and left it there, gathering dust for years. Then last year I had to have some time off work and I needed something to fill my time. So I got my husband to drag my wheel downstairs and I started throwing pots. I had forgotten how wonderful it is to make something with your hands and have an opportunity to be creative. I love making things that I can use. I put all of my cups and bowls in the dishwasher and in the microwave, as I feel there’s no point having nice things and not using them.

It didn’t take long until I managed to sell a few things to friends and family. Soon after that people kept telling me I needed a website. So here I am…

Plant pots to brighten your life

I mostly make my own small range, but I have taken on commissions making specific pieces for people. If you are interested in having one-off pieces made then please feel free to contact me. Please remember that ceramics take a long time, so please give me lots of notice.
